Membership is FREE. If you are 50+ and interested in attending Eastside Senior Center, please stop by the office at 3065 N. Genesee Rd., Flint MI. We will be happy to give you a tour and fill you in on all of our services and activities. We look forward to seeing new faces!
Daily Congregate Hot Meal GCCARD Program
Enjoy a great lunch each week day! Monday – Friday at 11:30 am
RSVP by 1:00 p.m. the day before
COST: Requested donation of $3.00 for those 60 and older. Cost for those under 60, or living outside Genesee County: $6.00
Main course is on the center calendar or come by & get a full menu!
GCCARD MEALS ARE EAT IN ONLY, BETWEEN 11:30-NOON.
Legal Services of Eastern Michigan
Free legal services available to seniors 60 and over who live in Genesee County, here at the senior center. Make an appointment for assistance regarding wills, power of attorney, etc. *NO TRUSTS

Consumer’s Shut Off Protection
Are you 65 or older and head of the household? Call consumers at 1-800-477-5050 so you can qualify for shut off protection., no late payment charges, and automatic eligibility for payment plans regardless of income.
KISS- Keep Independent Seniors Safe
This is a call in reassurance program for seniors who live alone. Make sure your loved one gets a call of caring through this program! Call 810-249-6530 for more information and to register yourself or a loved one!

Commodity Supplemental Food Program
The Eastside Senior Center is a commodity distribution/TeFAP pick-up site. TeFAP commodities are distributed quarterly. The second Tuesday of each month, GCCARD delivers commodities to the Senior Center allowing seniors the opportunity to come to Eastside Senior Center and pick up their food.
The commodity programs require meeting financial guidelines. You must pre-register and be processed in advance to participate. Please contact us at (810) 250-5000 for more details.
